Who is Independent Travel Training for?
It is for young people aged 10 to 25 years.
It is for those who may be vulnerable or would benefit from this service. This includes children and young people with EHC plans.

The service is free of charge.
The support given is a travel plan made just for you. It helps you get to and from school or college. This is with a one-to-one travel trainer and they base it on your needs.
Travel training gives you the confidence to make a journey in a safe way. It covers:
You are given support with this. At first, the trainer will be with you on your journey. You will then be shadowed by the trainer from a distance.
Top-up training is available to support young people when moving school or college.
