Care Leavers

This guide tells you what support you can expect from Sheffield City Council as you take your next steps to independence.

The Sheffield Leaving Care Service offers support to young people aged 16 to 25 who have left or are leaving the care of Sheffield Children’s Social Care, through allocating a Personal Advisor to support them towards independence.  There are different levels of support offered to care leavers depending upon your level of entitlement as a care leaver, or your personal needs.
