Triple P Discussion groups offer one off small group sessions looking at specific issues, with some tailored advice, ideas to take away and try and an additional follow up call. This topic uses shopping trips as an example of one of the most common times Parents have to deal with difficult behaviour in public. Parents are given specific ideas to plan a hassle free shopping routine and explore:

• Why do children misbehave on shopping trips?
• Being aware of parent traps
• How to prevent problems on shopping trips
• Strategies to manage shopping trips
• Keeping track
• If problems persist
