An advocacy service can represent the interests of a young person with SEND by helping them have a say in decisions that affect them and obtain services they need. An advocate is independent of social services and the NHS, and isn't a friend or family member. In Sheffield, Citizens Advice Sheffield, Cloverleaf Advocacy and Disability Sheffield have formed a partnership called the Sheffield Advocacy Hub.
