Community Food Provision

Sheffield has a wealth of community food provision. This involves food banks, social eating spaces, food pantries and more. But what are the differences between these types of food provision? How do we access them and who are they for?


Join ShefFood and Sheffield City Council as we unpack and explain the different options to provide Sheffield people with support through food.

ShefFood will be presenting the outputs of an ongoing mapping project, defining different types of food provision, explaining referral processes, looking at when you should refer someone to a food bank, and answering all of your questions.

We hope this will help your organisation better understand how to signpost clients to relevant and appropriate services. No prior experience is needed.
