IBK Initiatives

IBK Initiatives is a Not for Profit Social Enterprise providing a wide range of services, our aim is to challenge a disabling world that denies individuals their rights to an ordinary existence. We work flexibly and with an open mind, an overview of our services can be found below but this is not an exhaustive list. Please do contact if you have a query or request.

Services Provided:

  • Money management support- helping you to manage your direct payment and paying invoices/ PA wages on your behalf
  • Payroll service
  • Help to recruit, train and supervise a Personal Assistant
  • Bespoke education and befriending projects
  • Social opportunities in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University

Qualifications & Quality Standards:


The managers of IBK Initiatives have many years experience of working with disabled children, young people, adults and their families. All staff are DBS checked. IBK has Public Liability, Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity insurances.

Budget Management fees: 
Annual: £748.32
Weekly: £14.39

Budget Managed if 4 weekly payroll required:
Annual: £810.68
Weekly: £15.59

Payroll fees:
Annual: £467.67
Weekly- £9

Payroll if 4 weekly payroll required:
Annual: £506.61
Weekly: £9.75

Managed Account/ Payroll set up fee:
One off charge of £360

PA Recruitment Fee: 
£590 per PA matched

PA Contract support: 
£240 per PA contract (includes liaising with ELI provider) 

PA Supervision support:
£240 per PA supervision (includes travel, note taking, action planning and follow up communication) 

PA DBS checks:
£195 per check
