Training Providers

The University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre is a great place to do an apprenticeship for a number of reasons. The centre is top of the regional league table for engineering apprentice achievement so as an apprentice, you are more likely to succeed with us.

Our building is filled with industry-standard state-of-the-art equipment for you to use, so with us you will be best prepared to begin your career in the real world. We work with a range of fantastic employers, one of which you will be placed with, and we will support you along every step of the way.

Our Apprenticeships | AMRC Training

We help school leavers prepare for their futures and find exciting apprenticeship and employment opportunities with the UK’s leading companies. We also help people looking to get into work, or back into work, gain the entry-level skills they need.

And we support people already in work by developing the right skills for success. Our professional courses and learning programmes are relevant right from entry level all the way up to senior and executive roles.

Individuals | Babington

Our study programme offers you the opportunity to experience real work, in a real work environment. We will identify specific and appropriate placements with local employers that will meet your individual needs. The information gained and skills learned whilst on a work placement are very important when deciding what you want to do.

Study Programme – CTS Training

We offer a wide range of courses to help you craft new skills or build on existing ones. By utilising available government pots of money that are specifically budgeted for learning, we are able to provide a number of different training options. Most of our courses have no cost, and all are nationally accredited qualifications.

The Military Academy is a unique training college that helps 16+ year olds develop their fitness, vocational qualifications, and employability skills to help prepare for employment, including rewarding careers in the British Armed Forces.

We are the Council’s employment and skills service. We create employment opportunities and break down barriers to employment, particularly for those furthest from the labour market.

We help businesses grow and develop a skilled, adaptable workforce, enabling them to thrive and support the growth of the local economy.

Employment and skills service | Sheffield City Council

Based at Graves Leisure students will study in purpose-built classrooms and facilities, creating a perfect learning environment to thrive within.

Alongside the academic studies, where 15 sports related units will be covered, students will train and play on a weekly basis, representing Qualitas in the Regional College League & against Academy professional clubs in friendly fixtures, aiding the courses uniqueness.

Qualitas are passionate about enhancing students’ employability skills, which is why students have access to work experience within Qualitas.

Sheffield United Community College delivers a variety of bespoke further and higher education / training qualifications. Our aim is to provide a high-quality and vocational focused education provision for young people and adults who want to advance their professional career. We utilise the local identity and connections of Sheffield United Football Club to provide unique and creative opportunities for our learners, both in and outside of sport.
